Privacy Policy

The following statement explains our policy regarding the personal information we collect about you. This policy applies to Teccho.net and any subsites.

Our privacy policy and practices

Should you submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address etc) in order to receive or use services on our website, we will not release personally identifiable information about you without your permission, except as needed to provide you with services you have specifically requested (see "third party relationships" below).

Should you register with us, you will be required to complete certain fields; these will be marked as required information and any further information we request is entirely optional. For example, we ask for information so we can contact you (e.g. your full name, e-mail address, contact telephone number and address).

How we use this information

We may then use this information to tell you about new features and services available on our site and to provide you with information that closely matches your interests. We may share your information with selected third parties who work with us; however we stress that this will occur only with your express permission.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. When you enter a site your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. Cookies are text files that identify your computer to our server. Cookies in themselves do not identify the individual user, just the computer used. Many sites do this whenever a user visits their site in order to track traffic flows. Cookies themselves only record those areas of the site that have been visited by the computer in question, and for how long. Users have the opportunity to set their computers to accept all cookies, to notify them when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time.

Teccho do retain information on IP (Internet protocol) addresses. An IP address is a set of numbers that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you log on to your internet service provider or through your local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN). Web servers, the powerful computers that provide web pages for viewing, automatically identify your computer by the IP address assigned to it during your session online. We do not however, link a user's IP address to their personal information, which means we will have a record of each user's session but the user remains anonymous to us.

Security

Teccho operate secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of your user data under our control. Whilst we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur; we strive to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Teccho holds about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. All requests should be made in writing and sent to the address below.
